who we play for

Since the early 90s we've been mixing jigs and reels with jazz and rock, blues and soul, to pack the floor at private, charity and corporate events from London to the Isle of Skye.  Here are some of the people we've played for:

The Carnegie Club - Hogmanay, Skibo Castle

Museum of Scotland - Grand Opening Ceilidh

VisitScotland - Thistle Awards, EICC

Red Cross  - London Guildhall

Creative Scotland Awards - The Hub, Edinburgh

Berwick Hunt Ball - Ayton Castle

BT Global Marketing - St Andrews Bay Hotel

Royal Bank of Scotland - Blair Castle

... plus, of course, a huge number of weddings and other private parties of all kinds

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY ...

Everyone has mentioned you in their letters, and as far as we're concerned it was the best party music we've ever heard!

Eugenie Todd, London

I thought The Jauncey Brothers’ Band was quite simply sensational. Having lived in Brazil for a while I nearly flipped when you started playing musica popular brazileira!

Sheila Colvin, Official Opening, Museum Of Scotland

You were amazing. The music was excellent, the sound fantastic. I cannot describe it but you were all brilliant and made the party.

Sasha York, London

We received many appreciative comments about The Halifax's IF.com party.  Much of that is down to yourselves, driving it along with such a good selection of music.

Alex Todrick, Vincent Taylor & Associates

Your band really has been the talk of the town and I am thrilled to have made such a good reputation for the Society.

Louisa Osborne, Newcastle University Caledonian Society

Just to say that every single letter we got said how wonderful you were - and we got lots!

Henrietta Thewes, Strathgarry

A very big thank you to the best band in the world!  Yes, really, there can be no better ... we are so grateful to you all.

Claire MacDonald of MacDonald, Isle of Skye

You really did us proud - you are quite amazing. You put so much into making everyone get up on their feet and have a ball.

Sarah Hammond-Chambers, Midlothian

Sincere appreciation and thanks for your quite awesome contribution on Friday night. The whole Jauncey Experience transformed the Ball into something very special.

Johnny Bradburne, Fife Hunt Ball

Thanks for your wonderful playing. Both young and old were full of praise. Some even asked who would teach them to reel for next year!

Senga Tweedie, Berwickshire Hunt Ball

Thank you for supplying such a fabulous repertoire of reels and groovy tunes. You really were magnificent.

Lucy Holt, London

You're fantastically versatile and the music really made the party go with a swing.

Nonie Ward, Jedburgh

SOME HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS

Over the years we’ve played at literally hundreds of functions of all kinds and we’ve got a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn’t.  When you book us we'll send you our leaflet, Making Your Party Go.

It tells you what we need in the way of stage and power.  And it's full of suggestions for things we think will help to make your party or event a success, including ideas for lay-out, timing, seating arrangements and so on.
