IN THE BEGINNING WAS...THE BUS
|
![]() |
The Jauncey Brothers Band is probably the only band ever to have started life in a bright red Glasgow Corporation double-decker bus. The bus was the Jauncey brothers studio as they grew up making music together in the 1960s.
The bus was wired up to the house electricity supply. When things got too rowdy, father Jauncey would simply throw the main switch in the kitchen, plunging assorted snog artists, dope fiends and Hendrix fanciers into darkness and confusion.
Left - a small bass player stands by, ready to kick ass. Right - music from before the dawn of time.
